Their Story
By God’s providence, Mei and Jeff first met while serving at a Christian event at Shalom Valley Retreat Center. Jeff was intrigued by Mei’s ability to speak perfect English and also found her pretty, while Mei was struck by how loud and outgoing Jeff was.
Not long after, Jeff realized he had left his card game at the retreat center, which gave him an excuse to ask Mei to help recover it—and to meet again in Phnom Penh.
While Jeff was in Canada for three months, they stayed in touch and exchanged many messages. Over time, their friendship grew into a mutual interest.
Over the past three years, the Lord has poured out abundant grace and mercy on their relationship, teaching them humility and deepening their joy in Christ. They have shared many meaningful adventures together and now look forward with hope to the new adventure ahead.
It is a great pleasure to share this wedding celebration with their church, their community, and their loved ones.
